The music of Warren Sieme, guitarist, singer, songwriter, contributes to the tradition of popular American contemporary folk. He shares personal insights and observations in songs that resonate with audiences everywhere. His voice and musical style share the soothing and understated style of such popular artists as James Taylor. Warren’s own compositions blend both popular and folk dynamics, taking his cue from the singer/songwriters of the seventies as well as sharing and interpreting the music of such legends as Stephen Foster, Hoagy Carmichael and Cole Porter, along with contemporaries Randy Newman and John Mayer.
A life-long musician, he has only recently emerged into the public eye. Warren projects a sensitivity and warmth that is embraced by both Baby Boomers and Millennials.
He was recently the featured performer at the Canajoharie (NY) “Music On Main Street” summer concert series and the Schenectady Historical Society’s “Howlin’ At The Moon” series. Warren often performs concerts for disabled veterans at the Albany Veterans Hospital and he makes regular appearances at venues in the Capital Region, the Adirondacks and the Berkshires. Warren’s first album of original material will be released in mid 2018.
