Julia Green was born in Pensacola, FL and spent her childhood in the community theatre, catching small sea creatures, and painting outside. She began selling her artwork as a teenager in local gift shops along the coast.  Conflicted about which passion to pursue; Julia graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre but continued cultivate her passion for art when she was not in class. After college, Julia moved to NY where she juggled a variety of music gigs, illustration gigs, and every bizarre odd job under the sun. Julia is a self-taught illustrator and songwriter who uses her unconventional life experiences to provide the foundation for her music and art.

Julia is a versatile vocalist/ musical comedian that sings a variety of genres (top 40's pop, jazz/torch music, golden age broadway, and  classical music). She writes hysterical musical satire, and original folk music. Julia recorded her first EP "Cannibals in 2016, and is currently recording her new EP "Carry You".
